Alongside the main road lies a tiny cottage (torp) built at the end of the 17th century which navy soldiers called home for 200+ years. Visit to hear about the everyday life of the soliders from Berit and Einar Nordahl.

Båtsmanstorp is open on specific dates thoughout the year, when you can get a cup of tea/coffee and cake and potter around it (though it isn't very big!). There is a car park. In 2013, it is open from 12 noon to 4pm on:

• 7-15 Sept in cooperation with Kulturbiennalen 2013 and Konstrundan 2013
• 29-30 Nov and 1 Dec
• 7-8 Dec
