Stocksund Wok Sushi recently opened after new owners took over and refurbished the restaurant through the second half of 2013. The interior looks calm and inviting, somewhat Oriental but with definite Swedish elements, such as clean white walls.
In order to properly test out the food, we've been three times. Each time, the food has been nicer than expected, so each time we've been happy. This evening, we ordered Szechuan chicken and it was divine. It had a kick to it but not overpoweringly spicy. Waiting for it, we watched and listened while the chef wok-fried the chicken and vegetables, added the sauce which sizzled then popped it in with freshly steamed rice into the standard plastic takeaway tubs. So far, so very good. Zen. |
