Monica Frumerie, the chairman of Danderyd's archivre association, will explain (in Swedish) how Djursholm first got running water, when and how the tower was built...and then built higher to provide enough water for the local residents. Ulla Löwernhielm will show what is in the archives.
Gunnela Mogensen from Stocksund's residents' association, Sällskapet Amorina, will talk about local architect Rudolf Enblom, who designed many of the houses in Djursholm and the top section of the water tower.
No pre-booking needed.
