Our local interiors and fashion store Nordiska Hem is celebrating their 15th birthday with all sorts of goodies, including a vase for purchases over 200kr and 15% off everything in the store until 6th May 2017. The store is filled with new spring clothing, homewares and furniture. Expect a drink and something sweet if you pop in!

www.helheten-harmoni.se Nordiska Hem, the home and fashion store just outside Mörby Centrum on the south side, has 50% off almost all its winter clothing and good deals on everything from the holiday season. We got some plant pots! A sale worth checking out.
The new bus terminal at Mörby Centrum will be in use from the week starting 31st Oct 2016 (week 44). It is currently under construction and is planned to look like this!
Music from Clabbe will be playing in the atrium at Mörby Centrum between 12 noon and 4pm on 8th November 2016. Enjoy the music while looking around and chatting with a whole host of exhibitors with products and services for older people. They will be there from 10am. There are some lectures to listen to, fitness activities and the chance to talk with local politicians. There is no charge and Thelins cafe will serve coffee and a bun for 39kr all day (usually 54kr).

After many, many years in the planning, work has finally started at one end of Mörby Centrum to transform it, eventually, into Danderyds Centrum. The work at Mörby plan - the end where the taxi rank and bus stops are - has started and from the 1st June, the taxis will be at Mörbyleden instead. The green arrow shows where they will be, the blue arrow will be the bike parking and the red area where they are about to start rebuilding (see the video below).  Space for 550 bikes is due to be completed in December 2016 and then work on the new bus station will start. From noon on Thursday this week (10th Dec), young businessmen and women from Danderyds Gymnasium will be showcasing their products at a Christmas market at Mörby Centrum. Check them out, they'll be on the 4th floor.
Friday will see the Lions club offering glögg and gingerbread biscuits from 10am to 7pm while Danderyds Kulturskola entertain. The Lucia procession is at 4:30pm. |
