Many of you with children are probably familiar with Lek & Bus i Danderyd but if you are not — you soon could be! It is the only soft play land in Danderyd and I take my two girls there to let off steam. I would love to take it easy but due to my children’s ages (2 & 5) and the layout, I spend a lot of time playing along side them. However, those of you with older kids will enjoy watching them slide on the inner tube slide, jump on the trampolines or climb through a multi-level maze of fun, while you sit, surf the internet and sip a latté! I was able to sit down with the manager, Camilla Forsberg last month and have a chat about what the latest and greatest is with Lek & Bus. Currently, Lek & Bus has just installed a bigger and better jumpy castle which is super popular with kids of all ages but especially for the smallest of customers. They also have handymen who regularly attend to the equipment making sure it is serviced and always safe for your kids to play on it. Lek & Bus offer the usual selection of kids’ food such as hamburgers, hot dogs and pancakes but also a rather nice chicken caesar salad. There are four themed party rooms to hold birthday parties (Princess, Super hero, Disco and Pirate themes) and someone will help deliver the food to the room. They offer a free membership that you can sign up for on-line and with that membership you will receive the latest discount offers for the month. For the Christmas season, they have many activities planned. Santa Claus will be visiting on Saturday and Sunday December 20th and 21st. They will also have a host of different activities starting on the 20th such as face painting and starting on the 22nd, Christmas and New Year’s crafting through to the 31st. You can find a full schedule in Swedish on Lek & Bus i Danderyd Facebook Page, as well as updates on our Life in Danderyd Facebook Page. Be sure to check out their opening hours as they will differ slightly from their normal opening hours of 10-19 and they will be closed completely on December 24th. | Lek & Bus has a lot to offer your energetic children, including a new mascot, Bonkey Apa (monkey), will make his entrance sometime in 2015. While weekends, after school and holidays can be busy times, you will find it a bit calmer at Lek & Bus on weekdays and they occasionally offer a discounted price during that time if you are a member. Keep your eye out on their website, they will be offering information in English in the future and check back in on our Facebook page as we will keep you posted when Bonkey Apa will be making his appearance at Lek & Bus! |
