- nasty chemicals, as long as they are well-packaged and labelled
- broken electrical items, such as old computers, microwaves, batteries etc.
- furniture, skis, paintings and plant pots
- clean and whole clothing and toys for reuse (max one bag per household)
What you can't give them are:
- white goods (fridges, dishwashers etc.)
- building or business waste
- lawn mowers or mopeds
- medicines or explosives
- garden waste
- anything that should be recycled, such as newspapers and packaging
Important to note new rules this year:
- don't take rubbish in bin bags, it must be possible to see what it is and dangerous items must be properly labelled
- max 1 cubic metre of waste per route
- all rubbish needs to be handed directly to the driver
