Linda Lilja runs Lilja Deco AB in Stocksund after a career in the media branch. As a certified interior designer and home-styling consultant, she works with both home interior décor projects and styling of properties before they are put up for sale.
Everyone wants to feel comfortable in their own home and many are interested in home décor. It can be difficult to pull everything together for a project, whether it is a whole house renovation or the redecoration of one room. Creating a comfortable, functional home with the right mix of colours, lighting, furniture and textiles requires experience but mostly time, which many people don’t have much of today.
Linda says: ”Right now I see that, because of Covid-19, there are very few home-styling projects. I guess that people don’t feel like or are waiting to sell their property.”
Hiring an interior designer who can take care of all those elements can be a good investment in both time and money, helping you avoid expensive purchases that don’t fit and keeping you clear of the shops at the weekend.
”I think a change is coming - I can imagine that many people currently stuck in at home are beginning to think about how their home works for them. Clearing, cleaning, reorganising the furniture and gardening. It is in these areas that I can help the most.”
To make both interior design projects and home-styling work right now, Linda has come up with some ideas:
- For clients that don’t want to meet up, Linda can do a web-based interior design proposal. You send the measurements and pictures and she will put together a plan.
- Linda can come and view your home from a distance.
- You can give her a key and she can view your home without you.
Now Linda is looking forward to Danderyd residents trying out these ideas!
