- L. Edelstam Art and Antiques, which is moving their showroom of 1700s antiques and 1900s design from Karlavägen in Stockholm to the square here in Djursholm.
- Skandiamäklarna, the estate agents who already have an office at Vendevägen 9, on the square and are moving over to the old SEB space because it suits them better.
- Potentially a beautician.
On the 18th February 2017, our smartest restaurant local restaurant will close. Owner Sarah Korduner Izosimov has run Yolo for 2½ years but has not had the weekday evening visitors that she would have liked. Danderyds Nyheter reports that the idea of getting dressed up to come out to dinner on a weekday hadn't pulled in enough diners to make it worth keeping the restaurant open. It isn't just Yolo that is leaving. Recently, we lost the Djursholm branch of SEB bank, though we do still have the cash machine (thankfully). Moving into the large space left behind is a combination of businesses: The clothing store Dressroom moved into Stockholm last year. This year, both the travel agents Travel Beyond and the opticians Optiker have closed. What is the future for our local square? What do you think of all the changes?

Why doesn't someone open a good breakfast/lunch place in the square, somewhere that has good brunch options, as they do in other countries.

Have you tried Primeur yet Terri? It is right at the back of the square, behind the Greek restaurant. It does lovely, light breakfast and brunch options.

Wow! Primeur is really great and Djursholm definitely could use a family friendly modern and comfortable breakfast/lunch spot. Maybe even just a light dinner menu on the weekends and a great wine list. Look forward to see fresh changes!

Quite right, it was misreported in one of the local papers. Apoteket says as long as we keep going there, they will stay open!
